The Full Life Wellness, LLC d/b/a Artie, its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, โ€œArtie,โ€ โ€œwe,โ€ โ€œusโ€ or โ€œourโ€), recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of our online visitors. The following privacy policy (โ€œPrivacy Policyโ€) is the way we handle information collected from or about you when you visit our website available at https://feedartie.com/ as well as any other online applications and services, including information you share with us through our social media pages, that are operated and controlled by us from which you are accessing this Privacy Policy (collectively, the โ€œSiteโ€).

PLEASE REVIEW THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. When you submit information to or through the Site or by using the Site, you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use and consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Personal Information

Artie collects and maintains personally identifiable information that you may voluntarily provide directly to us, such as through your use of the Site, which may include:

  • Identifiers and Contact Information: Such as your name, physical address (e.g., for shipping and/or billing), email address, phone number, username and other similar information commonly used to identify you.
  • Purchase, Subscription, Transaction and Customer Service Information: Such as details of your specific orders, subscriptions and transactions with us, including the products and/or services youโ€™ve purchased or received from us, your petโ€™s meal plan history (including dietary preferences), your shopping/consuming histories or tendencies on the Site and other information about your use of the products or services we offer in connection with the Site.
  • Survey Responses and Online Forms: Such as information about your lifestyle as it relates to the diet and lifestyle of your pet(s) for purposes of calculating and developing your petโ€™s custom Artie meal plan, including your questionnaire responses used to calculate and develop such meal plans, associated nutritional value and caloric intake data and any other information about your pet(s) that you choose to submit to us. For example, we may collect and maintain the following information about your pet(s) to help us calculate a pet profile and suggested meal plan for such pet(s):
    • Name
    • Gender
    • Breed (if known)
    • Age
    • Petโ€™s physical and health information (e.g., if spayed/neutered, body condition, weight and size)
    • Diet (e.g., known sensitivities or allergies)
    • Exercise and activity level

If we collect data about your pet(s) that may be directly linked or associated with an individually identifiable person as personal information, independently or in combination with other data we collect, such information will be treated as personal information under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

  • Limited Payment Information: Such as credit or debit card numbers, billing information and similar financial payment information. Generally, we use a third-party payment processing service provider to process your payment information in the manner described under the โ€œSharing of Informationโ€ section of this Privacy Policy, meaning that Artie never collects your full payment card information through the Site. However, if you choose to save your preferred payment method in your Artie account, we will collect that information pursuant to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
  • Other Information Provided Directly to Us: Such as your communications, including the contents of such communications, transmitted or directed to Artie online. For example, if you post a photograph, video or comment on social media (e.g., Instagram, TikTok or Facebook) and tag Artie and/or any social media account or page associated with Artie, or if you directly message us through our social media account(s) or page(s) (collectively, our โ€œSocial Media Pagesโ€), we will collect the photograph or video and any other data or information provided through that post, message or other submission. Please note that if you choose to post any media on a third-party social media platform and tag us or post a comment directed at any of our Social Media Pages, any information you post may be visible to any other visitors to that page, other users of the third-party social media platform or other members of the public. Artie does not control and is not liable for the data practices of these third-party social media websites, applications and platforms. We are not responsible for any personal information you include in such posts or for any use of such information by any other visitor to our Social Media Page(s).

We may also collect and process de-identified and aggregated information (i.e., anonymized data that can no longer reasonably identify an individual person) to improve and promote the Site and Site-related products and services, to conduct or facilitate scientific research studies or for any other purpose permitted under applicable law. For example, we may aggregate pet data collected from usersโ€™ responses to our intake quiz and questionnaire, including additional follow-up questions, that is no longer reasonably capable of being associated with the user- or pet owner-respondents to help inform our product roadmap for new Artie recipes. From time to time, we may also permit the use of submitted pet profiles to serve as data points in potentially publishable research studies or for similar research and analysis purposes.

The information described above, including de-identified and aggregated information, is collected and stored electronically when you register an account with us, place an order through the Site, purchase or subscribe to our products or services through the Site, complete a questionnaire or contact us (e.g., by submitting an online form through our Site, by emailing us or by otherwise messaging us online).

When you use the Site, we may also collect data about your location if you allow the Site to access location services through the permission system used by your deviceโ€™s mobile operations system or browser. We may also generalize your location, for example by using your IP address.

Where permitted by applicable law, we may combine your personal information with other information we have collected from you. We may also combine your personal information with information we receive about you from other sources, such as publicly available information sources and our service providers. We treat the combined information as personal information.

2. Information Collected Automatically

In addition, information about your computer hardware and software is automatically collected by Artie when you use the Site. This information may include:

  • Type of operating system
  • Type of browser
  • Language preference
  • Access times and dates
  • Type of device
  • Referring website addresses
  • Search queries
  • IP address
  • Geographic location
  • Browsing history
  • Other technical information such as protocol status and substatus, bytes sent and received and server information.

We may also collect information regarding customer traffic patterns and Site usage. This information is used by us for our business purposes, including for the operation and improvement of the Site, for technical troubleshooting, to maintain the quality of the Site and its contents and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site and interactions with Site-related products, services or other content. We may also receive similar data from our business partners and our service providers, subject to separate agreements entered into by Artie with those parties, and from social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, subject to your registration and privacy settings with such third-party social media platforms.

3. Cookies and Other Information Collection Tools

Information we collect automatically is collected through the use of โ€œcookiesโ€ and other data collection tools.

What are cookies? A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website or use an online service. When you visit the website or use the service again, the cookie allows that website or online service to recognize your browser or device. Cookies may store unique identifiers, user preferences and other information.

Duration of Cookies. We may use โ€œsession cookiesโ€ or โ€œpersistent cookies.โ€ Session cookies are temporary and expire once you close your browser or once your session ends. Persistent cookies remain on your device for much longer or until you or your browser erase them. Persistent cookies have varying durations that are dependent on their expiration date.

Why do we use them? Cookies help us improve the Site by providing us with information about which parts of the Site are most popular, enabling us to analyze technical and navigational information about the Site, and helping us to detect and prevent fraud. We also use cookies and other data collection tools (such as web beacons and pixels) to help improve your experience with the Site. For example, we use Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the Site. These tools use cookies to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site (including IP address) is transmitted to our data collection tool service providers. This information is then used by us to evaluate visitorsโ€™ use of the Site and to compile statistical reports on website activity for Artie. 4. How Information is Used

We may use the personal information we collect for any of the following purposes:

  • At your direction and with your consent:
    • to provide the Site and related products or services to you (e.g., to create a customized meal plan for your pet based on your responses to our meal plan food quiz, to save your petโ€™s meal plan information and calorie needs to a profile associated with your pet) and to improve the Site;
    • to create and manage your relationship and your account with Artie;
    • if you sign up for our email list to receive promotional messages, materials (such as our Press Kit) and updates about our products or offers that we think might be of interest to you;
    • to complete and fulfill your purchase or to facilitate performance of a contract with you, for example, to process your payments, have your order delivered to you, communicate with you regarding your purchase, including your subscription and/or renewal order, and provide you with related customer service; and
    • to respond to your requests and inquiries, such as a request seeking assistance from our customer service or support staff, through email, telephone call, text messaging or any other channels or forms of contact that you have approved for purposes of collecting or recording additional information your pet(s) and/or your experience with Artie.
  • For our legitimate business purposes:
    • to operate, improve upon and personalize the Site and Site-related products and services, and to give each user a more consistent and personalized experience when interacting with us on the Site (e.g., to send you surveys regarding your satisfaction with our services, products and overall experience with Artie);
    • to personalize our advertising, marketing communications, shopping experiences and promotional offers and to deliver promotions and offers to you that we think may interest you;
    • for security, to detect fraud or illegal activities, and for archival and backup purposes in connection with the provision of the Site; and
    • for other business or commercial purposes, such as data analysis and auditing to help inform our product roadmap for future offerings, developing new products and/or services, enhancing our Site, improving our existing products and services (e.g., to update, refine or improve upon Artieโ€™s recipes and meal plan mapping algorithms), identifying Site usage trends and determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns.
  • For education, analysis and scientific research purposes:
    • to help advance research in pet nutrition by providing data or data sets for use in studies, analyses, assessments evaluations, research papers and publications or similar scientific studies (which will also help inform the development and improvement of Artieโ€™s products roadmap and recipes and enhance your petโ€™s experience with us).
  • As we believe to be necessary or appropriate:
    • as permitted under applicable law;
    • to comply with legal process;
    • to respond to requests from public and government authorities;
    • to enforce this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use;
    • to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates;
    • to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others; and
    • to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

We may use information that does not personally identify you, including de-identified and aggregated information, for any purposes permitted under applicable law.

5. Sharing of Information

  • With Third Party Service Providers Performing Services on Our Behalf. We share your personal information with our service providers to perform the functions for which we engage them. For example, we may use third parties to host the Site or assist us in providing functionality on the Site (e.g., verification and video-player services), provide data analytics on the Site, send out emails and text messages about the Site and our products and to process payments.
  • With Business Partners. From time to time, we may share your personal information with our business partners, including our corporate parents and subsidiaries or other entities within our corporate group. We may also share de-identified or aggregated information with our third-party business partners for purposes of applying for and securing financial grants or funding. All business partners are bound to abide by the terms of this Privacy Policy.
  • For Legal Purposes. We also may share information that we collect from users as needed to enforce our rights, protect our property or protect the rights, property or safety of others, or as needed to support external auditing, compliance and corporate governance functions. We will disclose personal information as we deem necessary to respond to a subpoena, regulation, binding order of a data protection agency, legal process, governmental request or other legal or regulatory process. We may also share personal information as required to pursue available remedies or limit damages we may sustain.
  • Changes of Control. We reserve the right to transfer or assign the information that we have collected from users in connection with a corporate transaction, such as a divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.

Artie does not share your personal information with third parties for those third partiesโ€™ direct marketing purposes.

6. Links to External Websites and Online Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and platforms, including, but not limited to, third-party social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok and Facebook), pet care references and sources provided by third-party research institutes) and other websites, online applications or platforms that may be made available through the Site. Any access to and use of such third-party websites and online services, including any information or content provided on or through those online platforms, is not governed by this Privacy Policy but is instead governed by the privacy policies of those third parties, and we are not responsible for the data practices of or the accuracy of information provided through such third-party websites and online services. If you choose to access, use or rely on such third-party websites or online services, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own risk, and that it is your sole responsibility to familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of those third parties.

7. Social Media

Some aspects of the Site may allow you to interface with social media, such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. We will attempt to identify these aspects of the Site to you, for example, by identifying them with the applicable third-party logos or trade names. By using these interfaces, you will allow us to access information about you from those third-party online services, including information and other content that you submit to those online services. If you interface with the Site through your social media account, we may contact you or enable you to share your experience and content via your social media account, which information may be publicly viewed by other users of those services. For a description on how such social media services and other third-party platforms, plug-ins, integrations, and applications handle your information, please refer to their respective privacy policies and terms of use, which may permit you to modify your privacy settings with that service or platform.

8. Security of Personal Information

Artie uses reasonable security measures designed to prevent unauthorized intrusion to the Site and the alteration, acquisition or misuse of personal information. However, please note that no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information.

9. Consent to Receive Communications

By providing your email or phone number to us online, you agree to our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, and authorize us to contact you in the same or reasonably similar manner. For example, by providing your name and email to us through our โ€œGet In Touchโ€ form, to sign up for early access to our upcoming events or to download our Press Kit, you acknowledge and accept that Artie may respond to your inquiry or request by messaging you at the email address you provided. Your agreement to receive these communications is not a condition of purchasing any products, goods or services and you may elect to do business with us over the phone. Message & data rates may apply and message frequency may vary.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails and text messages from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in any such messages. Please note that if you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us, this does not impact other transactional and administrative messages that you will continue to receive (such as emails relating to billing and payment information or changes to this Privacy Policy). You may also access or modify your information and modify your communication preferences through your account settings.

11. Nevada Residents

Under Nevada law, Artie does not sell your personal information. However, if you are a Nevada resident, you may submit a request that we not sell any personal information we have collected about you by contacting us as set forth in โ€œQuestions / Contact Usโ€ below.

12. Do Not Track

Our Site does not currently take any action when it receives a Do Not Track request. Do Not Track is a privacy preference that you can set in your web browser to indicate that you do not want certain information about your webpage visits collected across websites when you have not interacted with that service on the page. 13. Children

You may not access or use the Site unless you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from any person under the age of 13. No parts of our Site are directed to or designed to attract anyone under the age of 13.
